It’s never just an ordinary day at The World’s Most Famous Arena. For many athletes walking into The Garden, it will simply be just one day – but nonetheless a day to show greatness on the highest of levels. I wanted to give focus to many of these recognizable figures who we rarely get to know outside their single-day appearance to MSG. In essence, this would be a content platform to showcase these athletes in a genuine, less-polished look and in turn highlight what performing at MSG really means.
The end result was the mini webisode series “@TheGarden” focusing on athletes at MSG outside the NBA and NHL, which would be used as content marketing for promoting their annual, respective events. I served as producer for the series, overseeing treatments, on-set and post-production, and final video distribution. The videos were published and shared across each athlete’s respective sport property (Harlem Globetrotters, WWE, Top Rank) to help push each event into near sell-outs at The Garden.
